Three women are diagnosed and one woman dies every day from a ‘below the belt’ cancer in New Zealand. Yet many of these deaths could be prevented with earlier detection and treatment of gynaecological issues As the leading charity in this sector, the New Zealand Gynaecological Cancer Foundation is on a mission to increase the survival of New Zealand women by raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of all gynaecological cancers – ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal, and vulval – with women and health professionals around the country.
